Houston restaurants offer patrons some of Texas’ best cuisine. Among the many Houston restaurants to choose from are some of the best pizza places, best burger places, and best Mexican restaurants in the country. Yet not all of the best Houston restaurants are the fine-dining or one-of-a-kind experiences; some of the best Houston restaurants, in fact, are the local Tex-Mex chains of some of America’s most popular Tex-Mex chain restaurants.
The Daily Meal put together a list of America’s 15 Best Tex-Mex Chain Restaurants, many of which call Houston home. In order to come up with the list, The Daily Meal assembled a list of about 50 Tex-Mex chain restaurants and put together a survey that was then taken by our readers. Readers were allowed to vote for up to 25 chains and were asked to vote for those they believed excel in ingredient quality, service, selection, and overall experience.
On that list is the much-loved Chipotle, which has several locations throughout Houston and is famous for its burritos, burritos bowls, and guacamole.
Another very popular Tex-Mex chain restaurant located in Houston is Taco Bell, which is the largest and best-known of all the Tex-Mex chains.
