Easter Basket Idea: How To Make Ice Cream Cone Carrots

If you leave Santa Claus cookies on Christmas Eve, it only makes sense that you'd want to leave the Easter Bunny a little something for his Easter Sunday visit. While carrots are always a welcomed treat for bunnies, we figured this year you should leave him (and your kids) something extra-sweet. These ice cream cones are easy to make and delicious to munch on. All you need are some cones, candy, and a little colored chocolate!

What You'll Need:

  • Ice cream cones
  • Orange candy melts
  • 1 bag of jelly beans, green ones separated
  • Treat bags
  • Green ribbon

Step One: Melt orange candy coating according to the directions in a large microwave-safe bowl.

Step Two: Taking the ice cream cone by the point, roll it in the orange candy until thoroughly coated.

Step Three: Place on wax paper flat side down. Allow to dry completely.

Step Four: Fill the ice cream cone with the jelly beans, leaving the green ones for the top.

Step Five: Place the cones in a treat bag and tie with green ribbon.
