Here's Your Chance To Visit Some Of San Diego's Coolest Modern Homes
Slated for Saturday, September 27, Modern Home Tours has planned quite an outing for its second event in San Diego since 2012. Guests will have the opportunity to visit up to seven of the city's most advanced homes and discuss the benefits with homeowners. They'll also get a chance to speak with architects and discover the inspiration behind a number of San Diego's most impressive abodes.
With eight of San Diego County 's visually striking properties already confirmed, the 2014 San Diego Modern Home Tour offers a range of architectural style to peruse. Included on the list are some of the area's most recent notable stylistic landmarks, including the ultra-cool Union 4 development in Banker's Hill. Unlike most of the structures on the tour that were built from the ground up, Union 4 is an updated historic property that now features three awesome modern lofts and is now one of the most sustainable properties in Southern California.
Additional properties on the tour include locations through La Jolla, Mission Hills, Presidio Park, Golden Hill and Encinitas, making for a fun outing through the county.
The San Diego Architectural Foundation will also be involved, as they have been named the tour's "local non-profit beneficiary" The organization aims to "further their mission of educating and promoting the outstanding architecture, planning and urban design throughout the San Diego region."
