Here's What's New At ValleySCARE

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — With the start of fall, Valleyfair takes a terrifying turn as the park transforms into ValleySCARE.

Jamie and I got a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into the thrilling production.

As darkness falls, Halloween Haunt comes to life with nearly 400 creatures occupying 11 haunted mazes and scare zones.

New this year (with the purchase of a Fright Lane Pass) is the Skeleton Key experience: a series of interactive scenarios where guests will face tight spaces, extreme situations and unforgettable encounters in secret rooms designed to test the boundaries of their worst fears.

Halloween Haunt is open Friday and Saturday nights through Nov. 1, as well as Thursday, Oct. 16. This is not recommended for children under 13.

During the day, all ages can take-in some not-so-scary family fun at Planet Spooky. Guests can make their way through a corn maze, hear a Halloween tale from the Storytelling Witch or grab a map and stuff their treat bag on a trek across ValleySCARE.

Plus, they can check out the all-new Cock-A-Doodle-Zoo petting zoo.

Planet Spooky is open Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Nov. 2.
