Bleeding Gunshot Victim Heads To KFC
A Syracuse man with an open gunshot wound and a bullet "moving around in his neck" this weekend figured the best thing to do was head to a local KFC restaurant, where horrified employees came to his assistance.
According to Syracuse.com, the 24-year-old man walked into a local KFC restaurant Sunday night, bleeding profusely from a gunshot wound to the neck. While employees said there was blood everywhere, the man was reportedly strangely calm about the whole incident, though he complained that he couldn't swallow or talk. The KFC employees leapt into action to help the man, with one handing him a towel to apply pressure to the wound, and another calling 911 for help.
Police and EMTs reportedly arrived shortly, and the man was taken to a hospital where doctors report that he had been shot in the neck with bird shot from a shotgun. The victim's injuries are reportedly not life-threatening, and police have started looking for a suspect in the shooting.
