First Annual International Food Festival Coming To Greater St. Louis

Here's another reason to look forward to summertime in St. Louis: Rick's Roadside Market, a family-owned farmers market, is launching their first annual International Food Festival. The event will take place from June 21st to June 23rd in St. Charles County, which is part of the Greater St. Louis, Metromix St. Louis reported.

Food vendors will offer a variety of cuisines, such as Greek, Mexican, Italian, Indian, Irish, Japanese, and more. Guests can also enjoy music, art, and dance along with the food. The opening performance will feature trapeze artists and ribbon aerialists. The opening night, which is open to adults only, will also showcase a Latin band.

On Saturday, June 22nd, the festival will be open to all families from 11 A.M. to 7 P.M. Children can visit Cindy's Petting Zoo while adults check out the international wine and beer gardens. Barrie Lynne, the cheese columnist for The Beverly Hills Times, will introduce artisanal cheese and wine pairings at the festival. The 7 P.M. to 11 P.M. VIP Night is an Arabian Night event to benefit Lauren Murphy, a local girl who is recovering from a brain injury; additional donations will go to the funds for a new amphitheater in Cottleville, Missouri.

The festival will end with a family day event on June 23rd from 12 P.M. to 6 P.M. Watch local chefs do cooking demonstrations, stroll through the international spice market, and enjoy desserts. It sounds like a great weekend to look forward to.
