Even days after the 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards, photos from the event and its parties are still trickling in. Stars such as January Jones, Bryan Cranston, and Derek Hough celebrated at AMC’s after-party with an unbelievable food spread. The bash was held at trendy Hollywood restaurant BOA Steakhouse, where Hollywood royalty was treated to lavish spreads from five top Los Angeles restaurants.
The celebration was filled with stars from AMC’s critically acclaimed series Breaking Bad and Mad Men, who munched on dishes like cedar-planked salmon, Kobe corn dogs, and eggplant parmigiana from Innovative Dining Group (IDG) restaurants BOA, RivaBella, Chi Lin, Sushi Roku and Katana. Most impressive was the elaborate seafood bar, which was a highlight of the food offerings.
To get the TV celebrities in a celebratory mood, NBC threw a pre-party the Saturday before the award show, also at BOA Steakhouse, with guests like funny girl Mindy Kaling and Top Chef’s Padma Lakshmi who kicked their Emmy festivities off with a bang.
Like the party-goers at the AMC after-party, NBC starlets noshed on similar menu items, including potato gnocchi with mushroom sauce and mozzarella from acclaimed chef Gino Angelini, and Chi Lin's Peking prawns from new executive chef Tyson Wong Ophaso.
