  • Chef Jason Cichonski's Ela got a lot of early attention for odd flavor profiles that just work. He's as pretty as the food he slings, & the critics love him. Get the scallop noodles. [Eater 38 Member]
  • Another fantastic addition to the Queen Village restaurant scene, Ela combines great food with great cocktails in a beautiful space.
  • The scallop 'noodles' are so good you'll be tempted to lick the bowl
  • The 6 course dinner was awesome! Request the scallop noodles and the wagu beef and you wont be disappointed. Skip the foie gras unless youre a big fan of it because its alot!
  • Scallop noodles. Obvi.
  • Debating where to go for brunch this weekend? With the Short Ribs Benedict, Classic French omelet, and quality espresso (for a seriously pleasant buzz) on the menu - Ela won't disappoint!
  • Come to Ela for its foie gras w/ parsley root, gingerbread & huckleberry. Drinks include 25 crafts (six rotating on draft) like Ommegang Hennepin + a nice selections of reds and whites by the glass.
  • The Lancaster chicken was absurdly good. Their tasting menu hit the spot, and really good cocktails also.
  • For a different kind of burger experience...they use curing salts. Try it out.
  • Everything is great!
  • There are half-price wine bottles on Mondays, and you can walk in on any weeknight without fearing a wait. Standouts include scallop noodles, and housemade tagliatelle in a luxuriant lobster sauce.
  • Lee Styer, chef of Fond, eats here on his nights off. He loves the Duck magret.
  • Chef/Owner Jason Cichonski's food is some of the most unique bites we had in the city. We're obsessed with the Pretzeled Risotto and the Short Ribs! Also try all of the cocktails we dare you.
  • Amazing duck thighs.
  • 6 course chef tasting - out of this world amazing. Best Philly food experience. By far.
  • Very creative modern American -outstanding brunch, fun place

  • One of the best chicken dishes I've ever had. Loved it!
  • I was a little underwhelmed, likely because I had such high expectations having been to Mica. The food at Ela is "just" very good.
