This Sneak Peek Of David Schwimmer In An Ultra-Secret Skittles Super Bowl Ad Is Legit Amazing

The teasers for Skittles Super Bowl ad have us absolutely mystified. The brand insists that the actual ad will only be shown to one person, but they showed teasers on Good Morning America today and our minds have basically melted, because... What the heck is this and why does it star David Schwimmer?

"You'd probably like to know if this is a scene from the upcoming Skittles Super Bowl ad, but I can't tell you because they're only showing it to one single person," the former Friends star deadpans to the camera.

Earlier this month Skittles announced that they would only be sharing their Super Bowl commercial with California teenager Marcos Menendez, while the rest of us will only have the opportunity to watch Menendez's reaction via Facebook Live. Interestingly, Marcos's Twitter was created just this year and he has a grand total of seven tweets. So why him? GMA reported that Skittles found the 17-year-old after conducting a search for the ultimate fan.

Menendez (who may or may not be fake) will experience the 60-second Skittles Super Bowl commercial featuring Schwimmer, who is most famous for playing Ross Geller on Friends, from the comfort of his own home. The rest of the world will have to make do with the four teaser clips, which are filmed in various styles, some reminiscent of Black Mirror and Stranger Things.

In the teasers (all viewable here), Schwimmer dons several wigs, stares through glowing white eyes, is wrapped in the arms of a gigantic teddy bear, glides through the void, and yells angrily at a sandwich in four separate but equally crazy videos. Could any of these be the real one? Does David Schwimmer actually look okay blonde? It's kind of killing us.

"Every other advertiser is going out there and showing their ad to 100 million people," said Matt Montei, vice president of fruit confections at the brand's parent company Mars, to AdWeek. "We want to be the one brand who has the most exclusive ad in Super Bowl history."

We may never see the most exclusive ad in Super Bowl history, but we will be watching a ton of other commercials — and when we do, we want to be surrounded by these 20 Super Bowl party essentials!
