Kindness Can Be Tasty

When the pilgrims and American Indians shared that historic first meal together hundreds of years ago, it was an act of kindness for which we give thanks every year on the fourth Thursday in November. And thanks to KIND Snacks, makers of wholesome and delicious snacks, their #kindawesome program now gives everyone tangible, tasty ways to spread kindness all year long.

KIND "is on a mission to make the world a little kinder one snack at a time." This corporate dedication to transformative acts is a core company value that began as a social mission to encourage team members to spot and celebrate acts of kindness wherever they happened.

Since its inception in 2004 by founder and CEO Daniel Lubetzky, this purpose-driven company has proven that good work and profit are not mutually exclusive. The company is leading the healthy snacks segment, a segment which is the largest and fastest growing energy bar segment in the country. And KIND's goal of building a more compassionate world has led to more than one million acts of kindness worldwide.

On November 13, World Kindness Day, KIND Spotting was given a big boost with the launch of #kindawesome, which is a new KIND initiative that makes it easy for anyone to recognize small acts of kindness and reward them with a digital #kindawesome card that can then be redeemed for a free KIND snack.

So join the movement by visiting howkindofyou.com. It's easy to do, you just follow the steps.

Step #1: Spot someone being kind.

Step #2: Send that person a digital #kindawesome card.

Step #3: They redeem the #kindawesome card for a free KIND snack and receive a new digital card so they can pay the kindness forward, too!
