Is Seaweed the New Superfood? Science Says Yes
Scientists now say that seaweed is the new super food that you need to be eating. Seaweed contains many important nutrients like proteins, antioxidants, and dietary fiber. They have now come to the conclusion that adding seaweed to your processed food intake can greatly aid in cardiovascular health.
'Chef of the Century' Joël Robuchon to Open International Culinary Institute
And Joël Robuchon, the French chef who holds 25 total Michelin stars, is opening his own culinary school. The doors of the school are slated to open in 2018 and will be just as impressive as the well-known chef. Robuchon's international culinary institute will be built on the site of the Maison-Dieu seminary in western France. The curriculum will offer vigorous classes and programs ranging from a few months to three years in length.
Women's Drinking Habits Are Becoming More Like Men's, Putting Their Health at Risk
It would appear that women now have more similar drinking habits to men in the last few years than in decades past, putting women at higher risk for alcoholism and other related diseases. Not only has alcohol intake risen for women, but men have cut back. This is more than troubling since women are already at higher risk for alcohol related health problems such as cardiovascular disease and cancer.
