In celebration of the 10th anniversary of his first steakhouse, CUT Beverly Hills, chef and restauranteur Wolfgang Puck released an exclusive Facebook 260 video, giving fans the unique opportunity to look behind the scenes at CUT's kitchen via virtual reality. The celebration continues today, June 3, where Puck, executive chef and partner Lee Hefter, and head chef Ari Rosenson are bringing a group of guest chefs into the CUT kitchen for a one-night-only five-course dinner. A portion of the evening's proceeds will benefit Chefs to End Hunger and Greater West Hollywood Food Coalition.
SodaStream is entering the beer market with the launch of the Beer Bar, a homemade beer system. The beer is made using sparkling water and "a unique beer concentrate brewed to perfection." The Beer Bar comes with concentrate for a light beer named Blondie, which is described as having "a smooth authentic taste and a hop-filled aroma." Blondie concentrate is simply added to sparking water to create an at-home brew. Blondie contains 4.5 percent alcohol by volume, and a one-liter Blondie bottle yields approximately three liters of beer.
It's about to be a night of the living debt for one unofficial Walking Dead restaurant. The Walking Dead is a themed restaurant soon to be opened in New Jersey, and the AMC zombie show's creator Robert Kirkman is not too happy about it. Kirkman has entered a legal battle with the wannabe restaurateurs over the name of the restaurant. The owners of the restaurant have defended themselves, saying that "the walking dead" is supposed to be a descriptive term, not a direct reference to the show, and the term has been used in horror movies and fiction for a long time
