Angry Orchard has just launched Walden Hollow, a new year-round specialty hard cider and the first from the company to be made exclusively with New York State apples. Walden Hollow is named for Walden, New York, “home of the angry orchard” and the location of the Angry Orchard Innovation Cider House, which opened last fall. Walden Hollow joins the Angry Orchard Cider House Collection and will be released annually every spring.

Though Starbucks has come out with a number of new Frappuccinos for the summer, it seems that a series of pastel-colored secret menu items are winning over Starbucks-lovers. It began with the Pink Drink, a Strawberry Acai Refresher made with coconut milk instead of water, which has been tagged on Instagram over 120,000 times.  Well, the Pink Drink was followed by Purple Drink and Orange Drink, and, most recently, a Green and Blue Drink have joined the secret menu lineup.

Mr. Potato Head is getting a makeover. Hasbro has paired with UK grocery chain ASDA to roll out a biologically accurate, oblong Mr. Potato Head that they have dubbed Wonky Mr. Potato Head. The reimaging of this childhood classic doesn’t seem far-fetched. Mr. Potato Head actually started out in 1952 as an all-natural product. But Mr. Potato Head enthusiasts, beware: This toy is only available for the next six days. Get them while they’re hot (potatoes)!

That’s today’s Daily Dish, thanks for watching. Stop by tomorrow for another helping.
