Chick-Fil-A 'Pay It Forward' Produces Heartwarming Results

When a woman decided to pay for the customer behind her last week at a Chick-fil-A in Pooler, Georgia, her good deed was passed on for most of the day, according to WTOC.

She started a "pay-it-forward" chain, which is where a customer pays for the customer behind her, who in turns pays for the customer behind him, creating a chain of good will.

By the time the chain ended at 2:30 p.m., 215 customers had paid it forward, reports Eater

"My feelings are great. I think more people in more places need to do stuff like this," said Stacy Goodwin, a customer involved in the chain, during an interview with WTOC. "It's just a way to put everybody in a good mood, I guess. I had no problem paying it forward to the next customer."

We've seen pay-it-forward chains before, like one at Starbucks that lasted 11 hours and saw 378 people participate. There is also Rosa's Pizzeria, which is known in the Philadelphia area as the "pay-it-forward" pizzeria. They offer customers a chance to pay an extra $1 to buy a slice of pizza for someone in need.
