Alcohol-Infused Summer Desserts

By
As the last weeks of summer slip by, whip up these treats to hopefully prolong the heat

The addition of small amounts of alcohol to popular desserts such as cupcakes and popsicles can give them a whole new flavor. For example, the other day I was at a friend’s house and she served us stewed fruit with a splash of rum and it was heaven. The rum deepened the flavors of the fruit and gave it a mellow, sweet taste. I looked around The Family Kitchen eager to try more alcohol infused summer desserts and found quite a few. These are the ones that really stand out to me and I think I am going to try soon!
