Warming Soups and Stews
For some parts of the country, this winter has been brutally cold, with insane amounts of snow piling up. Spring can’t come soon enough, but in the meantime, take a break from digging yourself out of the snow and enjoy some comforting soups and stews.
With no end of winter in sight, soups and stews are the perfect warming meals, which makes them the perfect choice for this week’s SWAT (Sharing With A Theme).
- Diane Balch of Simple Living and Eating brings us a cabbage soup with white bean and kale, the perfect combination of vitamins and nutrients to banish a winter cold.
- Mary Cressler of Vindulge shares her smoked tomato bisque, made with freshly smoked beefsteak tomatoes.
- This week’s winner comes from Michelle Nahom at A Dish of Daily Life, who brings us a healthy chicken enchilada soup that’s packed with tons of fiesta flavors and ready to eat in just 30 minutes.
