Construct Your Own Cocoa
When it comes to surviving the polar vortex, hot chocolate is definitely the tastiest and toastiest drink of choice. Unfortunately, us college students typically don't have enough time or energy to make anything fancier than a mug of instant Swiss Miss. Although this may be the case, there are many surprisingly easy and delicious ways to spice up your hot chocolate. Check out these fun quick fixes:
1. Peanutbutter/Nutella:
Directions:
1. Add one spoonful of Nutella and one spoonful of peanut butter to literally melt away your tastebuds.
2.Peppermint:
Directions:
1.Crush up 2-3 peppermint sticks and mix into hot chocolate.
2.Add whipped cream and extra peppermint stick shavings on top.
3. Mocha-Cocoa:
Directions:
1.Instead of adding water or milk, stir in some hot coffee for that dunkachino punch.
4. Coconut:
Directions:
1.Drop a few teaspoons of coconut milk into the mix.
2.Add a nice pump of whipped cream.
3. Garnish with coconut shavings for a sweet and cute twist.
5. Maple:
Directions:
1.A healthy drizzle of syrup in your hot chocolate is sure to make your tastebuds go to heaven.
6. Super Marshmallow
Directions:
1. Add A couple dollops of Marshmallow Fluff and a handful of jet-puffs...Too much? nahhh.
So, next time you're warming up with a mediocre cup of instant hot chocolate, think again. Happy Drinking!
