Tips

  • A minimalist old fashioned that's prepared by bartenders who know their ryes and bourbons. The only thing holding back this drink is the quality of their shard-like ice.
  • Loved this place. The mint salad app was fresh and delicious. We shared the chicken tangine and snapper. Beautiful space too

  • Claudette brings Southern France to Greenwich Village. Order the pieds paquets, it comes on a copper platter of tripe and pork sloshing dangerously in a garlicky rust-colored broth.
  • The Chicken Tagine is fantastic! I highly recommend it. Cocktails are strong and prepared very well. They also have Rose on tap, which is cool. Not on the menu, but available in a carafe for $40.
  • For brunch, Koren Grieveson turns a mix of Mediterranean-style such as smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, and eggs benedict with chard and confit tomatoes.
  • The chicken tajine is fine, but overhyped. Get the bouillabaisse instead, filled with octopus, shrimp, mussels, and white fish, topped with a croissant like pastry perfect for dipping.
  • From the Rosemary owner/chef comes the most delicious salad you'll ever eat: warm braised lamb, peaches, chickpeas, frise. Lives up to it's French-North African hybrid billing.
