Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Pops
If you can’t bear the thought of turning the oven on during the summer, try these creamy, frozen cheesecake pops instead. I’ve made them with strawberry purée but you could easily substitute another berry if you’d like — raspberries and blueberries would be delicious, too.

Kiwis and strawberries are both packed with Vitamin C, a water-soluble vitamin that as an anti-oxidant, protects the body against free radical damage, helps make collagen, and maintains immunity (strawberries and kiwis have more Vitamin C than oranges!). Kiwis are also packed with potassium, phosphorous, magnesium, calcium, iron, and zinc. Read More About Nutrients in Your Favorite Drinks and What They Do For You.

There's so much more to this recipe than meets the eye! This smoothie tastes more like a decadent dessert than a healthy smoothie with the creamy texture the overripe bananas lend. The cardamom and cinnamon give a kick that rounds out the grassy taste that blended greens can sometimes have.

Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries
“Fruit is a nice dessert because it has so many vitamins and minerals and is relatively low in calories. Chocolate, in moderation, contains a healthy dose of antioxidants and almonds are a good source of protein.”— Lisa Gorman, Director of St. Joseph Health Wellness CenterClick here for more of our best chocolate recipes.

Strawberry Jam
Here's a quick and easy recipe for fresh strawberry jam that I hope you'll make over and over again. It only takes about 15 minutes and I think the flavor is just incomparable to the jarred stuff, but you be the judge. And, unlike the jarred stuff, you'll know exactly what's going in it: just strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Serve these with your favorite scones, croissants, or just some plain toast in the morning. Since this isn't a sterilized product, it is probably a good idea to treat it like any other perishable food product, however. Refrigerate any unused portion and consume within a few days. Enjoy! Disclaimer: I did not make the croissant. Click here for 6 Sweet and Savory Strawberry Recipes.
