Grilled Artichokes recipe - The Daily Meal
This simple preparation allows the flavor and texture of fresh artichokes to shine. After a quick boil, they're basted with a lemon garlic oil while on the grill, then served with tangy remoulade sauce for dipping. This recipe is by Louis Najarro, head chef at Madisons New York Grill & Bar in Boca Raton, Florida, and was originally published in the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

Grilled Artichokes With Citronette Dressing recipe - The Daily Meal
This take on the classic Roman-style artichoke, or Carciofi alla romana, is a seasonal nod to spring and the artichoke’s peak season. Fresh and light, it’s a welcome dish after months of wintery, heavy, rich courses. Part of the magic of this dish doesn’t take place in the kitchen. Consistent with his belief that all great food starts with quality ingredients, chef Angelo Elia prefers using imported Roman artichoke hearts marinated with olive oil, white balsamic vinegar and fresh herbs. They can be sourced at specialty Italian markets or online. This recipe is by Angelo Elia, chef and owner of Angelo Elia's Pizza, Bar and Tapas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Grilled Artichokes with White Wine Butter
Big, fat, stuffed artichokes, beer-battered artichokes, and Ball jars stacked to the brim with baby marinated artichokes are what you'll find in my kitchen on a regular basis. Since we're trying to think lean during this no-holds-barred holiday season, I thought it might be nice to lessen the load and grill them this time around.  Slathered in a blend of garlic, shallot, and butter, sprinkled with grainy sea salt, and lightly grilled — these artichokes won't taste light at all!
