Blue cheese and bacon are just the kind of toppings that can really enhance your burger.
Notes
Amounts for arugula and blue cheese dressing can be altered to your preferred tastes.
Ingredients
For the Burgers:
- 1 Pound Ground beef
- 1 Tablespoon Montreal style steak seasoning
- 4 Slices of bacon, diced
- 3 Tablespoons Blue cheese crumbles, plus more for topping
- 4 Teaspoons Blue cheese dressing
- 1 Cup Baby arugula
- 4 Hamburger rolls
Directions
For the Burgers:
Heat grill to a medium-high heat.
In a bowl, place meat, seasoning, bacon and blue cheese.
Mix, using your hands, just until ingredients are incorporated. Do not over-handle the meat mixture.
Form into 4 patties.
Place burgers on the grill.
Do not flip for 3-5 minutes, depending on how you prefer your burger (3 for a rare burger and 5 for a more well-done version).
Flip and again, leave alone for 3-5 minutes.
If desired, add a few blue cheese crumbles to burgers just before removing them from the grill.
Place cooked patties on buns and top each with 1 tsp dressing and 1/4 cup arugula.
