One of the best aspects of the basketball court at this location is the view that is available from the court. There is a stunning view of Lake Michigan and also the City of Chicago which offers basketball players an exceptional view while shooting some hoops. The nets at this basketball court are not always in the best shape so bringing along your own net may be worth the effort. The court itself could be better, but the view while playing is worth the trip.

Jackson Park offers two basketball courts next to each other and they are some of the best-kept basketball courts in the city. The Jackson Park Advisory Council has been diligent in improving Jackson Park and the dedication is also shown in the excellent condition of the basketball courts. Not only do the basketball courts at Jackson Park offer an excellent playing experience, but there is also a great view of Lake Michigan. Jackson Park has been improved immensely and continues to be improved. Taking the time to check out the improvements at the park will make the basketball experience that much more meaningful.

Horner Park offers four basketball courts and is located in the Irving Park neighborhood. Horner Park is one of the largest parks on the North side, so not only are full-length basketball courts available, but also many other outdoor sports facilities. The Horner Park courts allow for full-size games of basketball and because numerous courts are available, multiple games can be played at one time.

The notoriety of this basketball court located in the Near South community area is the fact it has been featured in a few soft drink commercials which featured past Chicago Bulls players Michael Jordan and Derrick Rose. The area is small and located underneath the El, it is caged off and the basketball court represents the essence of playing basketball in the city of Chicago.

Wicker Park offers two basketball courts. The courts are on the smaller size, but are still a great place to shoot hoops or play a scaled-down basketball game. Wicker Park Court is located in the West Town community area and although the area is small, Wicker Park offers many facilities that are representative of a larger park area.
