Everything is better with bacon. It’s the undeniable truth, and asparagus is no exception.

Aside from serving this as a lovely dinner party appetizer, these flavorful spears make a great side for a regular weeknight meal. You can knock these bad boys out in less than 30 minutes, and prepare a main course while they kick it in the oven.

  • Cooking spray
  • 1 large bunch asparagus spears
  • 1 Pound sliced bacon


Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Coat a baking sheet with the cooking spray, and set aside. Wrap each asparagus spear with a slice of bacon on a diagonal, so that the majority of the spear is covered. Place the spears on the baking sheet in a single layer, and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Remove, serve, and enjoy!
