Experience

Steven began his writing career in 2008. For eight years, Steven worked solely as an entertainment journalist covering press screenings, various conventions, and film festivals. In 2017, Steven published his first book, but he continued to share his love of fandom and geek culture through his journalistic prose. Today, Steven serves as a news writer for Looper, and his articles have been featured by Entertainment Weekly, Rue Morgue Magazine, and Dread Central.

Education

Steven graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communications focusing on film studies, journalism, and theatre. Following his undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Steven received his Master of Fine Arts in writing from Lindenwood University.
