Robert Iafelice, MS, RDN is a functional nutritionist, author, and freelance medical writer. Bob has contributed several chapters to the sixth edition of Lief Extension's Disease Prevention and Treatment, a medical reference book of evidence-based protocols used to combat the diseases of aging. He has also written continuing education self-study courses for nutritional professionals, including Intermittent Fasting: Evidence-Based Approaches to Optimized Health and Disease Resistance as well as Clinical Strategies to Combat Food Allergies and Intolerances. In addition to extensive experience as a nutritionist in integrative/functional medicine, Bob has experience as a gym owner, university nutrition instructor, and health educator in the nutraceuticals industry.

Bob earned an M.S. in Nutrition Science from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and a B.A. in Chemistry from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
