Foursquare Tips

  • From Monterey Bay abalone with yuzu kosho dashi gel to an eel fum with dill, cucumber, potato, pomelo and coriander, dinner at Atelier Crenn is sure to be the least boring meal you will ever eat.
  • Go big or go home. The tasting menu with the wine paring is amazing. Some of the most interesting food I've had recently.
  • 2 Michelin Stars for 2013.
  • Already known as one of the nicest restaurants in town, Atelier Crenn is focusing on a new menu with live scallops, live king crabs, spiny lobsters, osetra caviar, turbot and Japanese Wagyu.
  • Let Chef Dominique Crenn take you down the rabbit hole to a wonderland of sensual poetry in the form of food. A wine pairing is highly recommended; the Sommelier is outstanding.
  • Do NOT valet your car here. Take the time, look for parking, and avoid the headache that comes with the valet company disappearing at the end of the night with NO NOTICE. Terrible service. Terrible
  • The entire tasting menu
  • We want to be Dominique Crenn when we grow up! She is the only Two Michelin Star female chef on our continent and one of only six in the universe
  • Grand tasting. Do it. Won't be disappointed.
  • What are you doing on your phone punk? No cell phones allowed!
  • Making substitutions? Let the chef choose for you. You will truly be treated!
  • Zagat 27, recommended by SF Magazine
  • Just go here. Sit back. Relax. And have your mind blown with flavors you've never tasted before.
  • Incredible! Prepare a month or two in advance for a seating which you can book online at their website. Will be harder now that she has earned the third Michelin star!
  • A chic launching pad, with only eight black walnut dining tables, from which to travel the gardens and high seas of Dominique Crenns mind.
  • Everything was amazing! Caviar was exceptionally good & so was the brioche.
  • So expensive but one of the best fancy set menu meals I've ever had. Every dish is creative, poetic, and delicious. The desserts portion is about another six dishes. And I love the wine recs!
  • Atelier Crenn featured a dessert tasting menu that was meant to be enjoyed as a meal in and of itself. Now, one-third of Atelier Crenn's fifteen course meal is devoted solely to dessert.
  • Fantastic experience. Creative food that is beautifully presented. The wine program is amazing and do yourself a favor and select the vintage pairing. Highly recommend!
  • When you have a chef who's so dedicated to her guests' experience, good things happen. The food was amazingly tasty and playful, and draws a smile on your face every time something unexpected shows up
