Foursquare Tips

  • Go to Artisan on a Monday night and enjoy one of their suppers paired with local wines!
  • Try the fondue; delicious!
  • Beer list here is surprisingly excellent - quality drafts and respect in the bottle for everything from Imperial Stouts to quality Belgians...
  • Their local wine list is excellent and lunches are incredible for a good price! It's nice to go to a good restaurant that doesn't mark up the local wines!
  • Try the lambcheeks!
  • Great wine list...but don't overlook the wines on tap!
  • Order the duck ham, grilled peaches and burrata salad -- I could eat it every day of my life.
  • Great new location on the park downtown. A must try if you visit Paso Robles!
  • White Borscht soup was amazing.
  • My restaurant-owning (picky) spouse now lists Artisan among his favorite restaurants in CA! We only eat meat a few times a year, and the lamb au jus and burgers were worth the splurge. Delicious.
  • Artisan sources local ingredients, has a fantastic wine list and hosts one of the most creative menus in town - Great for people looking for an upscale dining experience!
  • Outstanding service, Food and Wine
  • Overheard at Artisan - Get the Creme Brle it tastes like orgasm
  • Get the burger! Homemade ketchup with the fries (3 of 4 petals via Fondu)
  • Fondue is the best. Vegetarian meals available even if none are listed on the menu. Just ask. Napkins are default white.... if you are wearing black... ask for a black napkin! Trust me.
  • Sit at the bar and chat with Robert.
  • Rick behind the bar is awesome! Leave him a big tip.
  • Everything is delicious, but the fondue is their classic. Definitely order it!
  • Taste wine a few doors down on Park at Ortman's before your dinner
  • The meatball appetizer is so scrumptious! Everyone we've brought here loves it!
