The Daily Meal: What has been your most inspirational food experience while traveling?
Kris Lincoln: Traveling to Sicily at age thirteen and eating sea urchin right out of the shell with crusty bread. You can't understand the importance of fresh food until you experience it firsthand.
TDM: What's your favorite kitchen souvenir from your travels?
KL: I love my Mickey Mouse whisk from Disney World. Whenever I use it it reminds me of spending time on vacation with my family
TDM: If you could eat your way through one country, which one would it be and why?
KL: Thailand. I love the clarity and power of Thai food here in the U.S., so I can only imagine how wonderful it is in the country.
