Agent Provocateur Releases Fall/Winter 2014 Campaign Featuring Missy Rayder
After a little preview in August, Agent Provocateur has finally released Missy Rayder's smoldering fall/winter 2014 campaign. Lensed by Christian Larson and styled by Cathy Edwards, Rayder poses in a '70s backstage lounge standing beside a large clam-shaped bed, golden cranes and cheetah statue. While there's something decidedly tacky, but chic about it all, it plays well with the over-the-top opulence of the new fall collection. Filled with rich laces, jewel-tones and strappy sets that are perfect for adding to your wish list this holiday season, the collection is a dramatic (but welcome) turnaround from their sexy housewife campaign this spring. "Our Autumn/Winter campaign images mirror the luxurious excess of the glorious 1970s that I had envisaged when designing the collection," Agent Provocateur's creative director, Sarah Shotton, explained. "I wanted to make sure that everything from the decadent backdrop of the set to the breathtaking beauty of Missy Rayder emulated the mystery behind our glamorous concept."
In addition to Rayder's sexpot images, Agent Provocateur has also released an accompanying video, Le Salon, featuring Ashley Smith and Dioni Tabbers in the new fall/winter 2014 lingerie. The film shows the nine house rules, each with fleeting glimpses of the backstage area and scantily clad performers. While the video is a little racy (you've been warned) it's perfect for the lingerie brand and returns Agent Provocateur to the luxury and excess of its former collections.
