3 Patrón Tequila Cocktails To Help Spread The Holiday Cheer

Here's three of our favorite Patrón Tequila recipes for spreading holiday cheer:

Gingerbread Man

  • 1 ounce Patrón XO Cafe
  • 1 ounce Irish cream liqueur
  • Hot chocolate & sea salt
  • Coffee and ginger whipped cream
  • Ground coffee, nutmeg, silver flakes & silver embedded chocolate leaf for garnish
  • Gingerbread man

Method: In a coffee cup, add Patrón XO Cafe and Irish cream liqueur, then pour in the hot chocolate with a pinch of sea salt. Add the coffee ginger cream on top then sprinkle the ground coffee and the edible silver gold flakes. Garnish with blue-dusted chocolate leaf. Add a gingerbread man on saucer next to the coffee cup.


Rosemary Holiday Cup

  • 2 ounces Patrón Añejo
  • 1/4 ounce Absinthe
  • 1/2 ounce Vanilla green chili-infused simple syrup
  • 1 Sprig Rosemary
  • 1 Pinch Cloves
  • Rosemary sprig for garnish

Method: In a mixer glass, muddle rosemary and cloves, then add Patrón Añejo, absinthe and vanilla green chili-infused simple syrup. Double strain and pour into a martini glass. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary.

*Vanilla Green Chili-infused Simple Syrup
This recipe makes 1 cup of simple syrup. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week.


  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1-2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 1⁄2 stick of green chili pepper chopped

Method: Combine all ingredients into a saute pan and bring to a boil. Once the mixture begins to boil, lower it to a gentle boil to allow the syrup to reduce and become more concentrated for approximately 20 minutes. Strain out all vanilla extract and green chili peppers. Allow the syrup to cool before using.

Tasting Notes: This cocktail, which combines the smoky wood flavor from Patrón Añejo with deep herbal flavors from the absinthe, rosemary, and cloves, is multi-dimensional and full of richness with flavors that are perfect for the holiday season.


Cinnfully Pear

  • 1 1/2 ounce Patrón Silver
  • 1 ounce Pear juice
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 1 ounce almond liqueur
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Method: Combine all ingredients in a shaker glass filled with ice. Shake and strain into a small punch glass. Garnishwith sea salt foam.

Tasting Notes: Cinnfully Pear is a great holiday drink for parties this season. The cinnamon and pear in this cocktail bring out the fresh agave aroma in Patrón Silver. One of the best pairings of the  evening, Cinnfully Pear and the Braised Flatiron conjure up lovely winter meals by the fire.
