'Top Chef Masters' Lineup, Premiere Date Announced

Bravo has announced that the fifth season of Top Chef Masters will be premiering Wednesday, July 24 at 10 p.m. Thirteen of the country's most renowned chefs will be competing to win $100,000 for their charity of choice, and this year a heavy online component has been incorporated, which will pit each chef's sous chefs against each other. Curtis Stone will be returning as host, and he'll be joined by judges Gail Simmons, James Oseland, Ruth Reichl, Francis Lam, and new addition Lesley Suter.

New this season is "Battle of the Sous Chefs," which will be released online in the days leading up to each episode. Hosted by Hugh Acheson, the series will feature the chefs' sous chefs competing against each other, and the winner will earn their "master" chef immunity, while the worst performer will earn them obstacles.
