Steer clear of the processed and packaged foods and instead opt for some of summer’s fresh fruits and vegetables. They are full of essential vitamins and nutrients that can keep you feeling and looking good in your swimsuit.

The superfoods on this list are easily accessible and can be found in local grocery stores and farmers markets. Try incorporating some of these ingredients into your diet to fuel your body the right way, which can in turn help keep you slim and trim. Eating these foods will lead to a healthier and happier you with each bite. 

Lemons

These sour fruits are packed with tart flavor, without many calories. Squeeze some juice into some iced water or over a salad. The flavorful juice can help load you up on vitamin C and other antioxidants, while also decreasing inflammation.

Strawberries

This wonderful berry is full of vitamin C. The juicy ruby reds are also packed full of antioxidants that can help repair body tissue. So, slice these up and serve on a salad or eat them straight out of the container.
