NYC Wine & Food Fest Returns With Midnight Jazz Breakfast, The Art Of Sushi, And More

The eighth annual New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Food & Wine— one of the largest food festivals in America — returns this October 15 through the 18, and the schedule of events has just been announced. Lee Schrager and the festival team will, of course, bring back some festival favorites like NYCWFF's grand finale, Meatopia, hosted by Michael Symon (a meat-centric event that will also feature a tribute to the late food writer, Josh Ozersky); the Burger Bash, sponsored by Blue Moon and hosted by Rachael Ray; Thrillist's Barbecue and the Blues; and the Bank of America dinner series featuring dinners with prestigious chefs like Lidia Bastianich, David Bouley, Gerard Craft, Charles Phan, Bill Telepan, and Alice Waters.

Some of the new highlights this year include the Midnight Jazz Breakfast with Rev Run from Run DMC and Justine Simmons; the Art of Sushi with chef Daisuke Nakazawa at De Gustibus; Roast Chicken Master Class hosted by Jonathan Waxman; Brunch @ Bobby's with Bobby Flay; the Sweet Masquerade with Dominique Ansel and Pecko Zantilaveevan of the Four Seasons Restaurant; Top Dog — a New York hot dog competition hosted by Andrew Zimmern; and a Celebrity Cruises ramen party hosted by model Chrissy Teigen.

"We are excited to unveil our 2015 event line-up, which includes the return of Festival fan favorite events and a variety of new experiences for our passionate attendees," said festival founder and director Lee Schrager. "Festivalgoers will have the opportunity to see their favorite chefs and culinary personalities, including both veteran and new faces from Food Network & Cooking Channel, plus interact with leading winemakers and spirits producers from the Southern Wine & Spirits of New York portfolio."

As usual, all proceeds from the event will benefit the Food Bank for New York City and No Kid Hungry. Tickets will go on sale June 8.
