Nantucket, Mass., chefs will celebrate whole-hog feasting at the fourth annual Hogtoberfest from Oct. 13 to 14 at American Seasons restaurant. James Beard Award nominees for best chef Michael LaScola of American Seasons and Matt Jennings of Farmstead and La Laiterie in Providence, R.I., are pairing up for a back-of-house carving demo on Berkshire-Tamworth hogs hand-raised on Nantucket’s The Faraway Farm. The This Little Piggy Carving Demo, to be held Oct. 13, is $25.

The hogs from the This Little Piggy Carving Demo will be used throughout the weekend at events like the $30 Beer & Charcuterie Master Class with Brewmaster Jeff Homer of Cisco Brewers and the All Things Pork à la carte dinner on Oct. 13.

The weekend culminates with the Ode to Pig dinner on Sunday. The $100 multi-course meal, to be prepared by both LaScola and Jennings, will feature American wine and craft beer pairings.
