L.A.'s The Hungry Cat will be serving a shellfish-centric Father's Day Brunch this weekend.

This weekend is a great time to spend time with Dad and eat good food. Surprise him with a special Father’s Day meal at a restaurant in your city.

Boston

The Beehive- Drink mimosas and try the Steak and Eggs and the famous Beehive Prime Burger for brunch from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. Drop by from 5 P.M. to 10 P.M. for baby back ribs, Scottish Salmon with Frites, and a night of live blues.

Haru- Enjoy a three-course prix fixe meal at Haru from 11:30 A.M. to 11 P.M. This Japanese restaurant has appetizers such as rock shrimp tempura and calamari salad. The main course features chicken or salmon teriyaki or the chef’s choice of sushi and sashimi. Desserts include the deep fried bananas or the mocha ice cream.

Salvatore’s- This Italian restaurant created a Father and Son Cigars three-course menu to celebrate Dad’s special day. On June 15th, come by from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. for a taste of grilled beefsteak tomato and sweet onion. Down it with a special drink like the Purple Haze and finish the meal with a cigar.

estelle’s- Executive chef Eric Gburski created a weekend menu for June 14th to 16th, which features Southern food such as BBQ puller Pork Po’ Boy and Andouille sausage roasted oysters. Check out the beer list; there are seventy beers to choose from!

Chicago

South Water Kitchen- Bring your beer-loving dad to a $60 five-course dinner on June 15th. Each course is paired with a beer, even the dessert, which is a salted caramel cake with Finche’s Secret Stache Stout.

Bistro Dre- After dinner, every father will get a free slice of cheesecake with strawberry sauce as well as a gift bag.

David Burke’s Primehouse- The steakhouse will serve special brunch and dinner items. Dads will also bring home a steak sandwich, pasta salad, and a peanut butter brownie in a bagged lunch.

deca Restaurant- For a boozy brunch buffet, go to deca Restaurant for beef, bourbon, and beer. The meal costs $79 per person.

Theory Chicago- Another brunch option is Theory Chicago, where you and your dad can order waffles, sandwiches, and breakfast dishes. Watch the U.S. Open as you both enjoy $3 Stella Drafts.

Los Angeles

Lucques- Have a Father’s Day three-course supper on June 16th. The dishes will use the best ingredients of the season from the farmers’ market. Stop by from 5 to 10 P.M. for this $45-per-person meal.

The Pikey- Hollywood’s new English pub will serve local, organic dishes for the 10:30 A.M. to 3 P.M. Sunday Brunch and the 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. Sunday Roast. Brunch highlights include braised pork ribs with poached fried egg and the Sunday Roast will have roast pork with parsnips and caramelized apples, roast of beef with beets and horseradish cream, and more.

The Larder at Burton Way- Go to this new restaurant for a four-person barbecue dinner filled with steak house tomato salad, braised barbecued brisket, and chocolate brioche bread pudding. Take-out for brunch and dinner is also available.

Jar- This American chophouse is serving brunch and dinner for Father’s Day. Come in at 10 A.M. for smoked mozzarella, chopped sirloin, or lobster benedict. For dinner, which starts at 5:30 P.M., taste Jar’s Signature Pot Roast and end the meal with butterscotch or chocolate pudding.

The Hungry Cat- Eat fresh, local shellfish with your dad and order dishes such as the lobster and wild ramp frittata, fish tacos, dungeness crab cake benedict, and more. Brunch is served from 11 A.M. to 3 P.M. and dinner from 5 P.M. this Sunday.

Sweet Chick- Fathers can eat chicken and waffles for free all day on Father’s Day. Dads can choose bacon and cheddar, rosemary mushroom, or classic waffles. All you have to do is treat him to the special “Big Poppa” cocktail (rye whiskey, blended scotch, maple syrup, and citrus juice).

Ouest- Chef Tom Valenti is offering a French-American $29 two-course brunch from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. The à la carte dinner will have Father’s Day specials from 5 P.M. to 9 P.M. Your dad might enjoy brunch classics like the “Omelette Soufflé with Spinach and Gruyere Cheese” or dinner offerings such as the braised rabbit and roasted pearl onions.

121 Fulton Street- Spend an afternoon with Dad at this gastropub for the Father’s Day Bottomless Brunch Special. The $29.99 per person fee includes a breakfast entrée and unlimited Bloody Marys and mimosas. Drink fast, because there is a two-hour limit.

Ai Fiori Restaurant- This Sunday, enjoy pasta from the special pre-fixe dinner for $72 per person from 4 P.M. to 8:45 P.M. The normal dinner menu is also available.

La Cervecería- To celebrate Dad’s holiday, this Peruvian restaurant will be giving each dad a free dessert and craft beer. Share tapas such as the yucca fries, shrimp with pineapple, lobster guacamole, and more.

Volunteer Park Café- Chef Ericka Burke created a Father’s Day family-style Sunday Supper featuring wedge salad, pot roast, and caramelized banana split. Come by on June 16th at 6 P.M. The dinner costs $40 per person. For brunch, come by after 8 A.M. for the caramelized banana brioche, bacon and egg panini, or the new rhubarb pop tarts.

Tavolàta- Save the date — on June 16th at 6 P.M., Seattle’s best chefs and home cooks will gather here for Ethan Stowell’s June Charity Barbecue Cook-Off to win the title of Barbecue King. Bring your dad to taste and score the dishes. The $50 cost per person includes barbecue, potato salad, coleslaw, and tap beer.

BluWater Bistro- Don’t miss the Father’s Day Weekend Special! Buy your dad an 8 oz. center-cut New York steak with breakfast potatoes and eggs for $12. Remember to order a $3.50 Bloody Mary.

Buca di Beppo- Taste Italian dishes such as mozzarella caprese, prosciutto stuffed chicken, and cheese manicotti. Dinner is served family style; the Buca Small size serves two and the Buca Large serves four. Every dad gets a free cannoli on June 16th.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar- The steakhouse is offering a three-course brunch this Sunday from 11:30 A.M. to 3 P.M. The cost is $36.95 per diner. Have lobster bisque to start, Fleming’s signature eggs benedict to follow, and walnut turtle pie to finish. Dads will receive a $25 gift card for the next visit.
