It seems like every season comes with a new Starbucks drink (how are you liking those Vanilla Spice lattes, anyway?) and now, we have even more reason to be excited for spring's arrival. Sources shared with The Daily Meal what new products and drinks Starbucks is gearing up to sell this spring, and let's just say, we can't get enough of it.
So what to look for on the menu this spring? The Hazelnut Macchiato. That's right, your beloved Caramel Macchiato is getting a sibling (it's about time, after all — did you know that the Caramel Macchiato was introduced 16 years ago at Starbucks?). This macchiato is pretty similar to the Caramel Macchiato, with a base of espresso, steamed milk, and vanilla syrup, but will come with a hazelnut sauce drizzle.
Also coming out this spring: the Starbucks Tribute Blend, one of Starbucks' most popular coffees, is coming back to stores in whole bean, K-Cup packs, and Starbucks VIA Ready Brew. As for food, get ready for the Chocolate Trio for the sweet tooth in you; a collection of a cheesecake brownie, chocolate cinnamon bread, and a chocolate chunk cookie. Yeah, we'll take all three.
Starbucks has yet to respond for comment on the new products; however, reps did respond to another rumor we heard swirling about a new lavender-based coffee drink. Starbucks said they had no information to share on the rumor... which means we'll be keeping a close eye on our local Starbucks to see what comes next.
