WHAT'S YOUR FAMILY'S OLDEST RECIPE?
Roast Leg of Lamb with Sliced New Potatoes, Onions, and Pan-Roasted Carrots.

WHAT RECIPE WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE KNOWN FOR?
I would like to be known for thinking outside of the box. Cheesecake Pops, Pastrami Salmon, Swordfish Chop, Flavor Sprays, Crackling Pork Shank, Can O Cake, 12 Bev. [Burke's chef-crafted sparkling beverages], etc., as well as the innovation of dry aging beef in a salt box.

HAVE YOU CREATED A DISH THAT COULD BECOME A NEW FAMILY TRADITION, PASSED DOWN TO FUTURE GENERATIONS?
Dry-Aged Leg of Lamb Roasted in Red Wine Hay in Box with Potatoes, Carrots, and Beets, Orange Cumin, and Mint Marmalade.

WHAT'S YOUR FAMILY'S OLDEST RECIPE?
Smashies — an individually-portioned icebox dessert comprised of alternating layers of chocolate wafer cookies and whipped cream and topped with a generous portion of homemade chocolate sauce. This recipe hails from my husband's side of the family and goes back five generations.

WHAT RECIPE WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE KNOWN FOR?
Chicken and Dumplings. The recipe I use is adapted from my mother, and it represents much of what I stand for as a cook: simple ingredients, out-of-this-world flavor, and a focus on sharing with others.

HAVE YOU CREATED A DISH THAT COULD BECOME A NEW FAMILY TRADITION, PASSED DOWN TO FUTURE GENERATIONS?
Fresh Greek Pizza with Homemade Tzatziki. The bright flavors of this pizza stand alone, but each time I make it, I'm reminded of special moments my husband and I shared over Greek food early in our marriage.

WHAT'S YOUR FAMILY'S OLDEST RECIPE?
Granny's Five-Flavor Pound Cake.

WHAT RECIPE WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE KNOWN FOR?
Chicken Pot Pie (with crust on the bottom).

HAVE YOU CREATED A DISH THAT COULD BECOME A NEW FAMILY TRADITION, PASSED DOWN TO FUTURE GENERATIONS?
Pan-Seared Turkey with a variety of flavors (curry, lemon herb, and Nashville-hot-chicken-style). The great thing about this method is that you don't have to commit to one flavor profile, since the turkey is broken down into eight parts.

WHAT'S YOUR FAMILY'S OLDEST RECIPE?
The oldest recipe I know of, one that makes me think of my grandmother and great-grandmother is for Russian Tea. You steep two family-size bags of black tea (although I like to use green) in 8 cups of boiling water. You then mix in 1/3 cup Red Hots candies, 1/2 cup sugar, a large can of orange juice concentrate, and the juice of 1 lemon, then fill up the orange juice can twice with water and add that in. Stir till dissolved and drink warm.

WHAT RECIPE WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE KNOWN FOR?
I want to be the mom who always has good food. I want all the other kids to want to come to our house after school to play because they know they will always have a scone, a slice of warm sourdough bread, or freshly baked cookie waiting for them. I suppose I would just like to be known for always having homemade food around. But if I had to pick one thing I would say any one of my scone recipes.

HAVE YOU CREATED A DISH THAT COULD BECOME A NEW FAMILY TRADITION, PASSED DOWN TO FUTURE GENERATIONS?
I think my Raw Kale Salad, Avocookies, or any one of my scones may be passed down.

WHAT'S YOUR FAMILY'S OLDEST RECIPE?
My family's oldest recipe is a Awadhi Chicken Curry, traditionally called Korma/Qorma, which involves stone-grinding a mix of spices and fried onions. It originates from the city of Lucknow (the City of the Nawabs) in India.

WHAT RECIPE WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE KNOWN FOR?
I would like to be known for a simpler version of the Qorma, one which is more doable, yet reminiscent of the traditional version.

HAVE YOU CREATED A DISH THAT COULD BECOME A NEW FAMILY TRADITION, PASSED DOWN TO FUTURE GENERATIONS?
I have used recipes from several relatives and finally reached my own version of the Qorma.

WHAT'S YOUR FAMILY'S OLDEST RECIPE?
My grandfather's Tomato-Based Chili.

WHAT RECIPE WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE KNOWN FOR?
I would like to be known for either my handmade pasta and Sweet Potato Gnocchi or my Pumpkin Spice Cake with Pumpkin Cream Cheese Frosting.

HAVE YOU CREATED A DISH THAT COULD BECOME A NEW FAMILY TRADITION, PASSED DOWN TO FUTURE GENERATIONS?
This is more of a tableside staple, but it is a tradition: I started making soft yeast rolls for family dinners about five years ago and they have had an automatic place on the table at every family gathering.

WHAT'S YOUR FAMILY'S OLDEST RECIPE?
Coq au Vin or Tripe.

WHAT RECIPE WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE KNOWN FOR?
I grew up on a farm in Nice, and a lot of my early experience with proteins came from the sea. A recipe that I am known for is my Provençal Fish Soup, and my seasonal pastas.

HAVE YOU CREATED A DISH THAT COULD BECOME A NEW FAMILY TRADITION, PASSED DOWN TO FUTURE GENERATIONS?
Many of my dishes are a play on classic French, including the Coq au Vin. The best way to create a new tradition is to draw on the notes of the older ones, to include everyone in the experience.

WHAT'S YOUR FAMILY'S OLDEST RECIPE?
Granny's Pecan Rolls were a staple of every holiday get-together at her house. Not quite a biscuit, and not quite a cinnamon roll, the pecan rolls were swirls of doughy and nutty goodness with the perfect combination of sweetness and savoriness that allowed me to scarf them down in mass quantities as a kid.

WHAT RECIPE WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE KNOWN FOR?
I'm known for my award-winning Blackberry Bourbon Bone-in Boston Butt. It is a pork shoulder that gets injected with a mixture of honey, bourbon, and blackberry jam, and rubbed on the outside with Cajun seasoning and brown sugar before being smoked for 12 hours over Louisiana pecan wood. The result is a sweet and spicy tender pulled pork that is loaded with flavor!

HAVE YOU CREATED A DISH THAT COULD BECOME A NEW FAMILY TRADITION, PASSED DOWN TO FUTURE GENERATIONS?
The previously mentioned Blackberry Bourbon Bone-in Boston Butt is one that I plan on passing down once I have kids. For now, though, that's my signature dish!

WHAT'S YOUR FAMILY'S OLDEST RECIPE?
My grandmother's Challah (Jewish egg bread traditionally eaten every Friday evening for Shabbat).

WHAT RECIPE WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE KNOWN FOR?
In my dreams, I'm as expert and comfortable baking bread as my grandmother was. But if you asked people now what dish our family is known for — it would have to be our Rugelach. We started making this traditional Jewish rolled and filled pastry over 20 years ago and it is now a regular part of our family Hanukkah tradition.

HAVE YOU CREATED A DISH THAT COULD BECOME A NEW FAMILY TRADITION, PASSED DOWN TO FUTURE GENERATIONS?
The first thing I ever baked in junior high home economics class was Banana Chocolate Chip Loaf from a recipe in the newspaper. Since then, I have become legendary for this super simple quick bread. Topped with cream cheese — I can't think of a better breakfast treat.

My French grandmother's Confiture de Chataignes, or chestnut jam. This recipe has truly been in the family for years.

WHAT RECIPE WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE KNOWN FOR?
Braised Lamb Shank with Brussels Sprouts and Bacon and Celery Root Purée is a classic dish that we welcome back on our fall menus year after year at Landmarc. It's a crowd-pleaser and the perfect comfort dish.

HAVE YOU CREATED A DISH THAT COULD BECOME A NEW FAMILY TRADITION, PASSED DOWN TO FUTURE GENERATIONS?
My Spaghetti Carbonara. It's simple and uses only a few ingredients, but put them together and they turn into something beautiful, kind of like family!

HAVE YOU CREATED A DISH THAT COULD BECOME A NEW FAMILY TRADITION, PASSED DOWN TO FUTURE GENERATIONS?

My grandmother's Homemade Berry Pie taught me that food had the ability to feed my soul. I now know that it also holds the incredible power of transcending time and space, bringing back memories of a grandmother long gone, but known by my children who never had the opportunity to meet her in person. Instead, they met her memory with the first bite of Homemade Berry Pie they ate while listening to me tell them about her. It's no wonder we hold that recipe so close to our hearts!

WHAT'S YOUR FAMILY'S OLDEST RECIPE?
Well, if you can include my wife's family, we can go back many generations, even centuries  to Japchae [a Korean sweet-potato noodle dish] — but more seriously, my mom was a great  cook and we used to make "stir-fry" in the '70s, which, in the suburbs was actually an event in those days.

WHAT RECIPE WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE KNOWN FOR?
A soy sauce-based "Beurre Fondue," or emulsified butter sauce.

HAVE YOU CREATED A DISH THAT COULD BECOME A NEW FAMILY TRADITION, PASSED DOWN TO FUTURE GENERATIONS?
That would be a Sauté of Black Sea Bass with the Soy Beurre Fondue.
