Restaurant Critic Roundup: Finicky Diners Unwelcome At Boston's Fogo De Chão

As always, the ratings range from stars to bells to beans, but every review offers specialized insight into the food, atmosphere, and service of eateries in each city's dining scene and the critics eating at them.

This week in Boston, "For the fussy and finicky, Fogo de Chão will pose a challenge," claims critic Devra First, "You get a brief introduction about how the experience will unfold, but after that you're on your own."

At New York's El Toro Blanco, the interior is doing more work than the food, and despite some positive flavors, "the restaurant seems to play to timid palates," says critic Pete Wells.

In Denver, Central Bistro & Bar is a "worthy addition to the Denver restaurant scene," according to critic William Porter. Set to be a "hip carnivore's palace on the north side of the South Platte, perched on a rise on Central Street that offered lovely views of the twinkling lights of downtown Denver," Porter claims the restaurant has "largely fulfilled that mission."

From the East Coast to the West Coast, from North to South, the weekly restaurant critic roundup is here for all of your dining out needs.
