Slow Cooker Banana Bread Recipe - The Daily Meal

Ingredients
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, plus more for greasing dish
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
Directions
  1. In a bowl, combine 2 eggs, 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup sugar; mix well.
  2. Add the 1 cup of the flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt and and mix until combined. Add the remaining 1 cup flour and mix.
  3. Mash bananas well and stir in to mixture. Fold the walnuts into the mixture.
  4. Butter the removable dish in the slow-cooker and pour banana bread mixture in.
  5. Cook for on low for 4 hours, until the top is golden and and the banana bread has some bounce to it when you touch it. Turn off the slow cooker and let the banana bread cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
