If you need a cooling and refreshing drink on a hot summer day, make pineapple lassi. Lassi is a traditional yogurt-based drink from India. Here, you just blend together yogurt, water, and spices.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whip until all the ingredients blend thoroughly. You may also use a blender.
Add drops of rose syrup on top of the lassi in the serving glass before serving for essence and looks.
Buying fruits in season when they are at the peak of their freshness make for great tasting food and can save you money.
Don’t throw out your overripe fruit – instead blend into a smoothie or salad dressing, add to muffin batter, bake into a cobbler, or boil down with sugar and a little lemon juice to make jam.
