Ingredients

  • hot dogs
  • ¾-ounce slices American cheese, each cut into 6 strips
  • 8-ounce can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls, such as Pillsbury™
  • wooden corn dog sticks

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Slit the hot dogs to within ½-inch of the ends. Insert 3 strips of cheese into each slit.

Separate the dough into triangles. Wrap a dough triangle around each hot dog. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet, cheese-side up.

Bake until golden brown, 12 to 15 minutes.

Insert 1 stick in each crescent dog, then serve.
