Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup concentrated beet juice
  • 1 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 ounce berry vodka, preferably ménage à trois
  • 3/4 ounce crème de cassis
  • 3/4 ounce lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce beet grenadine
  • gooseberries, to garnish
  • mint, to garnish
Directions
  1. Heat all the ingredients together in a pan set over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, to reduce the mixture until it becomes a sticky syrup.
  2. Shake the vodka, cassis, and lemon juice with ice. Strain into a stemless wine glass filled with crushed ice. Top with beet grenadine. Garnish with gooseberries and mint.
