Ingredients
  • 1 pound surimi, such as alaska surimi seafood
  • 2 cup prepared barbecue sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns, lightly toasted
  • 4 cheddar cheese slices
  • 1 cup prepared coleslaw
  • 1 cup prepared crispy onions
Directions
  1. Pull the surimi apart along its natural seams into long strands, like you would pull pork.
  2. Heat the BBQ sauce; add the pulled surimi seafood to the sauce and toss to heat through.
  3. To serve, place 1 cheddar cheese slice onto the heel of each bun. Divide the surimi mixture evenly over each heel. Top each sandwich with 1/4 cup of coleslaw, then 1/4 cup of the crispy onions. Top each sandwich with the bun top.
