“Bacon and pineapple pair very well together – we love the combo on pizza, so of course pineapple and bacon would be great in chili! This recipe packs quite a bit of punch, for only a few ingredients, which makes it not only a quick meal to make (have some last-minute guests stopping by?) but it’s so easy, anyone would feel like a master chef after completing this recipe.”
In a large skillet on medium heat, fry the bacon for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently. Add the chopped onion. Stir until bacon is cooked and onion is soft. Drain off the bacon fat.
Add the 2 cans of chili beans (do not drain), salsa, and chili powder. Mix together; salt to taste.
Heat on medium low for about 10 minutes.
Stir in chopped cilantro. Serve!
