Preview Anthony Bourdain's 'The Layover'

Food bad boy Anthony Bourdain's new show The Layover premieres this Monday at 9 p.m. ET and 8 p.m. CT, and here's a peek at what to expect.

According to the Travel Channel, "viewers [of The Layover] learn where to go, where to stay, and what to eat, to maximize their enjoyment no matter how much or little time they have in that city."

While No Reservations was about travelling to curious and exotic places, HuffPo reports that Bourdain wants to focus The Layover on "locations where a traveler might reasonably expect to find themselves, hopefully, at some point."

This means Bourdain will be travelling to places like Hong Kong, Rome, Amsterdam, and London. Fairly vanilla, but the Travel Channel promises "mini-trips of a lifetime."

Watch below to see him eat a perfectly normal meal of chicken and rice in Singapore, making us think this is just a watered-down version of No Reservations.
