Carl's Jr. may have tested an ice cream burger last year (really, an ice cream sandwich made to look like a burger), but it looks like the fast-food chain is upping its frozen desserts offerings.

A photo of a "Hand-Scooped Strawberry Pop-Tart Ice Cream Sandwich" has emerged on the Internet, circling through food blogs as everyone freaks about the possibility that this stoner-friendly sandwich could soon be available nationwide.

Food Beast reports that the sandwich first popped up on Instagram on April 20, appropriately, with news that a Newport Beach, Calif., Carl's Jr. outpost is testing the dessert.

The advertisement says that each sandwich is $1.49, and the concept is definitely in line with past ice cream sandwiches (Oreo and chocolate chip cookie sandwiches, to be exact). Whether or not this product will expand to more outposts has yet to be seen.
