Pickles, Pickles, and More Pickles!

In honor of National Pickle Month, we’re looking at all the ways to use the tangy, sour favorite


You heard it right. This month, amid all the other things we’re celebrating — America’s independence, the joys of ice cream, the art of picnicking, and the culinary arts — we are also partying in honor of the great delicacy that is a pickle.

Now, while it’s always a brilliant idea just to throw a straightforward picking party — you know, gather with your best pals and spend an afternoon under the hot sun preserving the season’s best veggies for later use — we can do better than that. We’re thinking an entire pickle-themed menu — from cocktails and appetizers to main dishes and sides, and maybe even a pickle-shaped cake?
