OMG: Starbucks Is Serving Pumpkin Spice Lattes In Secret

We KNEW something was in the air: First, it's finally getting colder, which can only mean Pumpkin Spice Latte weather — er, we mean fall. And then we saw a perplexing sign in the window of our local Starbucks. So we dug around and we figured it out: Starbucks is secretly serving the addicting Pumpkin Spice Lattes.

According to HowAboutWe and other sources, you can start ordering Pumpkin Spice Lattes as early as today with a secret code: PSL10. Starbucks confirmed it on its official Facebook page, so we're good to go.

We asked our Starbucks source about it, here's what they said:

Pumpkin Spice Latte officially comes back to Starbucks stores across the country on Sept. 3, the day after Labor Day, but we just kicked off a fun "unlocking" program for our customers today.

Starting today, customers can visit a Starbucks store and tell the barista "PSL 10" in order to unlock the beverage early. If they're the first one to unlock the store, the barista will put their name on a plaque that will go up at the front of the store, and any other customers that visit the store will also be able to get PSL before it officially launches on Sept. 3.

The new code, sources say, is in honor of Starbucks 10th anniversary of introducing the PSL to the pumpkin-loving public (can you believe it?). Better get it now, while the syrup's still in stock. At least The Daily Meal can show you how to make your own at home. In the meantime, we'll leave this for you after you've run to a Starbucks to get one:
