New York's Top Female Chefs Join SHARE Cancer Fundraiser

On September 22, a selection of New York City's most celebrated female chefs will come together for a tasting event to benefit SHARE, a New York City-based organization that has provided free and direct resources for those who have been affected by breast and ovarian cancer, for the last decade.

Participating chefs  for A Second Helping of Life 2014 include the event's executive chef April Bloomfield (The Spotted Pig, The Breslin), Amanda Cohen (Dirt Candy), Elizabeth Karmel (Hill Country), Heather Bertinetti (Carbone, Dirty French), Christina Tosi (Momofuku Milk Bar), and several others.

The evening's celebrity sous chefs will include television chef and cookbook author Sara Moulton, actress Jessica Hecht, consulting chef Elizabeth Falkner, and more.

Individual tickets and table sponsorships are available for purchase; donations to support SHARE are also welcome.

For more information, listen to this week's episode of The Morning After on Heritage Radio with participating chefs Einat Admony, Barbara Sibley, and Colleen Grapes.
