Once again, we ate a lot of ice cream and candy in service of our product round-up.

This week's round-up features brownie bites, chocolate ganache ice cream cones, sour cherry ale, and more!

Available nationwide next month, Juicy Fruit has introduced a new “fruity chews” gum variety that adds a pleasantly crunchy (?) outer shell to your gum-chewing experience. The new chews come in Juicy Fruit original and strawberry flavors, and samples disappeared faster around the office than perhaps any we’ve received so far.

Juicy Fruit has also introduced an updated “Fruit Bubble Gum” version of the stick you know and love. Think Bubblicious meets Juicy Fruit.

Dreyer’s ice cream (also known as Edy’s) has unveiled a series of limited edition summer flavors inspired by classic desserts: Grand Banana Split, Grand New York Cheesecake, Grand German Chocolate Cake, and their slow-churned counterparts with half the fat. There are six varieties in total, which you can divide throughout the summer at your leisure.

Hampton Creek’s Just Mayo is kosher and free of GMOs, dairy, soy, gluten, and lactose, which means your sandwich game can still be on point if you need to avoid GMOs or certain allergens. We tried Just Mayo’s Garlic and Sriracha varieties, and are pleased to report excellent sandwich results.

Organic Brownie Bites from Just Desserts are now available in both Brownie and Salted Caramel Brownie varieties, and are made with whole grain and contain no artificial flavors or synthetic preservatives. Currently, the Organic Bites are available are Safeway, Pavillions, Vons, Randalls, and Carr’s.

Skinny Cow has introduced a bunch of new desserts for summer: Ganache Cones in Chocolate Mint and Chocolate Mousse (low-fat ice cream wrapped in crisp cones, topped with ice cream rosettes and chocolate ganache). If you’re counting, each is only 4 points the PointsPlus scale, according to Nestlé.

Classic American comfort foods like meatballs in marinara sauce, chicken pot pie, and country meatloaf are the inspiration behind dcuisine’s line of upscale frozen foods. The line also includes a full range of all-natural soups and entrees for the busy consumer that appreciates dcuisine’s specialty of “gourmet take-in.” All dcuisine meals are created by Master Chef Ken Arnone.

ChimiButter: SambaFlavor ChimiButter is taking advantage of the butter comeback (according to The New York Times and TIME, if you were wondering) with two new products that infuse chimichurri herbs and spices into butter. ChimiButter is available in white and red wine flavors.

Madame Rose is the newest addition to Goose Island's line of sour beers. The youngest sister to Halia, Gillian, Sofie, Juliet, and Lolita, Madame Rose is a Belgian-style wild ale with notes of sour cherries and spices, and has been aged for two years in cabernet barrels with wild yeast and Michigan cherries.
